I'm thankful for...

As we begin the changing of the season, making the transition from summer to fall, I feel the need to express some of my gratitude and appreciation for all of the joy and happiness this summer has brought into our lives, the blessings have been endless. Mr. L and I moved into our first house at the beginning of the summer. Being that I'm a creature of habit, this was obviosuly a huge change for me; I never thought I'd get adjusted. We've now been in the house for a little over six months, and lo and behold, I couldn't imagine calling any other place our home. We have had such an amazing time getting ourselves settled and hosting family and friends, I wouldn't change it for the world! The making of memories began from day one and I cherish every single one.
Mr. L and I also tied the knot at the end of this summer and I must say, my life has never been more complete. The wedding was such a love filled event, Mr. L and I were so touched by the outpouring we received from all our family and friends. We are both forever grateful to those who made it possible! We've since settled into married life quite nicely; now, that's not to say there hasn't been a bump or two but I'm thankful that we've yet to have a blowout =0) Being a married woman is such a surreal experience, I still feel like a giggly little girl sometimes when I think about being a wife *insert cheesey grin*.
The joy and blessings were not isolated to Mr. L and I alone, this summer was officially dubbed "baby madness"! Nearly every one of my best friends gave birth this summer. Although we love our role as "aunt and uncle" to all our friends little ones, the title is now official with arrival our first nephew, Casen. He is such a blessing, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have him in the family. All of the little bundles of joy that arrived this summer are healthy, happy little pumpkins, we love them all very dearly (and the big kids too!). We have had so much fun reconnecting with loved ones, this summer has really been a time for building stronger relationships and more steadfast bonds with all our friends and family. It's a rarity to have such an amazing circle of support, and we are incredibly thankful for each and every one of them!
Now, to answer the question: What is this blog about? To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure just yet =0) For now, we'll use it to update everyone about family life and to share more about ourselves. Eventually, my hope is to really turn this into something...I'm just not sure what the vision is yet, but trust me, you'll be the first to know!
Until next time...

With love...
